Two Saturday Classes for $60

  • Saturday, January 17  9 A.M. - Noon
  • Saturday, January 24  9 A.M. - Noon

Open to adults and children over 8 years.

Learn what to expect at a musical theater audition:

  • how to present yourself

  • how to pick a song

  • basic choreography and tips for a dance audition

  • techniques for a cold read

  • how to set up your resume

Participate in a mock audition  with feedback in front of experienced directors and choreographer.

Our Teachers

Kirk Valles: Vocal Instructor
Kirk is a music teacher, a musician, musical director and Resident Artist with Such N' Such Productions.  He has worked for the Coronado School of the Arts in both musical ctheatre and vocal instruction.  Mr. Valles currently teaches at Hawthorne Elementary's seminar program as their choral director, teaches private voice and piano lessons and is director of music for a church in downtown San Diego . Kirk has been Musical Director for 49 shows which include Oliver!, Closer Than Ever, Songs For A new World, Evita, Grease, The Wiz, A My name is Alice, Little Shop of Horrors, The Fantasticks, Guys and Dolls, Working,  Side by Side by Sondheim
and many others.

Alisa Williams: Dance Instructor
Alisa, a Resident Artist with Such N' Such Productions, has been working in theater for eighteen years as a choreographer and actress. She most recently choreographed SNS' production of The Music Man. She was also seen in Onstage Playhouses Production of Cabaret
where she both choreographed and played Sally Bowles. She has worked with a number of other theaters including Scripps Ranch, Starlight, and PowPac. When away from theater, Alisa works as a fourth grade teacher at Carlton Oaks Elementary in Santee .

Lisa Goodman: Producer/Owner SNS
As a child, Lisa
would gather up all the neighborhood kids and put on shows in her backyard, so it's only fitting that she'd still be doing it as an adult! She has produced Oliver!, 6 Women With Brain Death or Expiring Minds Want to Know and is currently producing The Music Man for her company Such N' Such Productions. As an actor, Lisa has performed on stages in San Diego and North County for many, many years including The Coronado Playhouse, The Avo Playhouse, Patio Playhouse, The Lyric Opera and The Lyceum to name just a few. Lisa has also taught children's acting classes, wrote, produced and directed a children's play and has costumed thousands of kids at Pershing Middle School.
